What's Zach Frazer been up to?

(story removed by source: www.courant.com)
submitted by user TDTATE 376 days ago, December 27, 2007

There was no chance of Frazer playing this season. As a transfer over the summer from Notre Dame, NCAA rules required him to sit out the season. There was little he could do on Saturdays to directly help UConn on the scoreboard during games, and that won't change this week.

Where the Huskies Go

by Jay (Blue-Gray Sky) 547 days ago, July 9, 2007

Is this yellow snow? We report, you decide. Despite Zach's protestations to the contrary (see previous entry: "I don't know who's going to start"), David Frazer (Zach's dad) talked to Dennis Dodd about the Irish QB iditarod: "From what we know Sharpley is going to be the guy," David Frazer told me from his office in Harrisburg, Pa. "Jones will be put in for a few trick plays. Clausen won't play this year." Wow. That lends credence to an More...

Husky-bound

by Pat (Blue-Gray Sky) 550 days ago, July 6, 2007

Zach Frazer has officially transfered and UConn is the destination. "Zach certainly has aspirations to play on the next level," Frazer's father, Dave, said. "And that made UConn a good fit. So did a lot of other things. (Coach) Randy Edsall is from Pennsylvania and he takes care of Pennsylvania kids. And the academics are real good, and that factored in greatly too. Anybody who's playing college football, they're stupid if they're not thinking about More...

BGS Bits

Transfer Watch The signs are getting much stronger that Zach Frazer is going to transfer, but so far it appears that he's still weighing his options. "Zach is talking to other schools," Frazer's father, David, said via cell phone Sunday. "He's doing his homework, but no decision has been made." Zach Frazer has not asked for or been granted his release at this point. What the ND athletic department has granted the QB is permission to contact More...

Hit the Road, Zach!

submitted by user OCDomer 574 days ago, June 12, 2007

In the book on the Charlie Weis era, Zach Frazer should have a chapter all to himself. With his verbal commitment, Coach Weis (and Zach) changed the perception of Notre Dame's talent level from being a program of mostly 3-star talent with some 4-star athletes sprinkled in, to being a program with 4-star talent sprinkling in some 5-star players. Rutgers on Line 1

by Jay (Blue-Gray Sky) 586 days ago, May 31, 2007

It didn't take long for Zach Frazer to start shopping around. In the wake of not being named one of the three finalists for the quarterback job, Frazer, according to his father in an interview with the Cumberland Sentinel, is already working the phones, looking for a new home. "At this point he's a little disappointed," said David Frazer [Zach's father]. "He's worked very hard in the last year and a half and he's been extremely loyal to Notre Dame. More...
