Because of his injury Allen hasn't gotten as much pub as other top recruits, but this kid is the real deal. He ran the fastest 40 time at 2 camps his junior year with sub 4.4's. I, like many Notre Dame fans can only salivate over the potential he and Clausen have together at Notre Dame.

Armando "Zoom-Zoom" Allen has the speed we so desperately need on offense. I believe we only had 6 runs all year of more than 20 yards. That's just not going to get it done. He and Clausen could become one dynamic duo

Check out Armando Allen's highlight videos...just search for "Armando Allen" in the search box above. The kid has all the makings of a star. He reminds me of the tailbacks Miami has on a regular basis.

I'm no recruiting expert, but when I reviewed the film on the running backs Notre Dame was after last spring I thought Armando Allen was by far the best of the bunch. Not only does he have game breaking speed, but he is also very strong and agile. It's not like you catch him and he goes down.
