or is it silence is golden? At any rate, speedy wide receiver Golden Tate isn't able to attend every spring football practice due to playing baseball, but when he is able to, he's giving 110%, and even has WR's coach Rob Ianello jokingly telling him to slow down during drills. More...

One of the big mysteries last year was the disappearance of Tate after showing early some Rocket flair on the fly pattern. I guess that fly pattern was all that he could handle last fall. Still a bit troubling that over the four month fall season, he wasn't progressing to handle anything else. Looks like he'll need a long spring and summer to master the position, so please Shrage let him work with Charlie as much as possible. He has way more upside than Grimes or West. Can you imagine Tate in the slot with Kamara and Floyd on the outside?!
