This is just a rumor I heard and can't substatiate anything, but I heard that Jonas Gray has officially committed to ND. This makes 21 and all but locks up a top 5 class barring any defections. Stay tuned for confirmation. IF this is inaccurate, my apologies! More...

It appears those rumors are true burtonrider. Rivals just published an article confirming Gray's commitment. I updated your submission to that story.

Just saw the article on Rivals. He plays for Detroit Country Day, so hopefully if they make it far enough in the playoffs, I can catch him on TV. That's a great pick up to an already GREAT class. Well done Charlie and crew.

"The 5-foot-10, 213-pound athlete from Detroit Country Day made his decision on Monday night, giving a pledge to defensive coordinator Corwin Brown over the phone. It was Brown that maintained ties with Gray even after the Rivals100 prospect committed to Nebraska in early August. And it was Brown that convinced Gray to officially visit South Bend for the USC game. Now Brown will visit Gray later this week."
hmmm....I thought we stopped contacting recruits after they committed to another school.

There's a good (subscription) article on Gray's recruitment and commitment on Blue & Gold. When asked about Trevor Robinson, Gray had this to say:
"If I commit to Notre Dame, I think he will," Gray told BlueandGold.com before making his own decision public. "That's my feeling. I know his dad wants him to go there, and Michigan's out of the equation. I don't think he'll end up going to Nebraska."

Hell yeah Carms...I would love to get Page and Robinson to fill out an elite lineman haul for the class of 2012.
