Recruiting Snapshot from FunkDoctorSpock

therockreport.blogspot.com - This is one (updated) estimation of who is left on the board and how they are currently ranked by Rivals and Scout. This will of course change over the coming months, and I don't currently have the time to add cohorts (which is indeed the best indication of a recruits skill level) but nonetheless it is one measure of how things look for the Irish: Steve Filer, LB: #34 on Rivals, #28 on Scout. 5/4 star player. Mike Floyd, WR: #52 on Rivals, #30 More...

Player Profile: Steve Filer

Looks like this class is going to be better than last years, which is pretty impressive. Weis and recruiting master Corwin Brown deserve a massive heap of credit.

Actually Filer is down to ND and OSU, with scUM a distant 3. He's going to visit in a couple weeks and if all goes well make a commitment soon after...to ND I hope. Filer's coach Frank Lenti is pointing him towards ND.

Too bad Filer isn't down to ND and scUM because we've been winning all the head to head recruiting battles lately. Knock on wood.
