The Irish found a running game against MSU, but why wasn't it utilized more often? James Aldridge rushed for 104 yards on 18 carries, Robert Hughes 35 on 6 carries (with a TD), and Armando Allen 13 on 3 carries. That's 5.8 yards a carry for James and Robert. More...

Great post. James Aldridge and Robert Hughes are the type of backs that wear down a defense and run wild in the 4th quarter. I'd love to see us run the 80% of the time against Purdue.
