I was approached by an idiot Michigan fan at work last week and she was tooting scUM's horn about beating Wisconsin and how Michigan has a good chance of winning the Big Ten, the only thing that actually matters to scUM. In response to her stupidity I said, "correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't ND beat the Wolverdicks 35-17 this year?" She replied, "who cares about Notre Dame because they aren't even in our conference, Michigan is only playing with Freshman and Sophomores, just wait..." I replied, "That's great but don't you, as a scUM fan, strive for more than just winning the Big Ten? And just so you know, ND is doing much more with all Freshman and Sophomores, actually, much much more!" She idiotically replied, "whatever, look at the history and Michigan is the best." After biting my tongue for a second, I replied, "let's look at history, 11 National Championships... that's more than Michigan, 7 Heisman's...that's more than Michigan, 1 Co-National Championship since 1950, that's more than scUM, do you want me to keep going?" She muttered something and walked away.
