Walls left for academic reasons but not for bad grades? Not to speculate but what else is there? Was he cheating? I would hate to hear that, but if he learns his lesson....but again, total speculation on my part.

burtonrider11, I can neither confirm nor deny that assumption; so let's leave it at that! Besides breaking FERPA laws, the folks in the GUG who divulged this information to me would be in some serious trouble.

As for as eligibility purposes go: As long as Darrin completes his requirements for graduation on time, he would be eligible for a fifth year.
Walls would have to enroll into some graduate program; most likely in the College of Business.

I'm kind of proud that I haven't seen the real reason yet, that shows that people are genuinely concerned with this kid's privacy.

It is a classy move on the University's part and we'll all know eventually. I'm sure it has something to do with cheating -plaguer ism- would be my guess.
This really sucks, we needed Walls bad this year. On a positive note, it will be nice to have Walls around for 2 more years as we are making Championship runs in 09 & 10!!

That was a huge blow, but oh well, I'm sure we'll manage. Having Tenuta will sure help out....
