I knew Allen was fast, but wow, fastest 40 time at 2 camps and a track champion. I imagine Allen would be a 5 star had he not broken his leg and missed his senior year. Huge get for the Irish.

I don't think many people realize just how important it was landing Allen. We pulled him right out of the back yard of the 3 powers in Florida. Same deal with Jimmy Clausen and USC. Weis has proven he can pull top notch talent from anywhere.

Armando Allen is my new favorite recruit. He, Gary Gray and Duval Kamara should all be 5 star.
