Are current players allowed to contact recruits? Either way, this shows an interesting side of Clausen. Is this Clausen, the ultimate team player, working to make Notre Dame better? Or - as his detractors will say - Clausen the bastard, underhandedly criticizing his current teammates by telling a recruit that the team is weak without him. I'm confident it's the former and the effort and leadership on Clausen's part really impresses me.
