submitted by user carms 295 days ago, January 30, 2008

Notre Dame coaches are not the only ones trying to convince running back Milton Knox, who's visiting Notre Dame this weekend, that South Bend is the place for him. Commits Dayne Crist and Joseph Fauria are also pushing Knox hard to join them with the Irish. "Am I recruiting Milton Knox? You'd have to be crazy to think I'm not," Crist said. "But this really goes past recruiting because he is one of my best friends." More...

I still can't get over how mature some of our recruits are. These kids really get what ND is all about.

As much as I'd love to get Milton Knox, I have a hard time seeing him leave sunny southern cali for South Bend, but stranger things have happened.

I'm sure Weis and his staff will pull out all the stops this weekend. I remain cautiously optimistic.

Sunny Southern Cali means nothing if you don't have anybody to enjoy it with. I would take life in Alaska with 10 of my best buds over life on the beaches of Southern Cali with nobody to hang with.
What's taking shape in South Bend is going to be special. You'd be crazy to not want to be a part of it. Hopefully Knox senses that and decides to stick close to Crist and Fauria and the rest of these great kids that have chosen the Irish.
