does this mean Corwin has a solid lead on the Defensive recruits? Charlie needs to step it up! (never thought I would have to say that, but I think it is a good sign when we can say that). I wouldn't have expected kids to be jumping on like this when there is so much unkown about the direction of the NDFB program. How are the selling a team that just lost their bread and butter. I really do not care how, just don't stop, I want to see a full 25 offers, and 25 names in February. I also feel that it is a matter of time till other schools( or crazed fans with blogs) start accusing us of corrupt recruiting tactics. I have never before been this excited for a fotball season more then a year away.

I'd say Corwin has a slight lead on defensive recruits...step it up with a few WR's and a RB Charlie! If you've read any articles on Corwin you'll quickly see he's a person of very high character that relates to these recruits, and their parent. Selling a product like Notre Dame also helps a bit. Our recruiting coordinator Rob Ianello also deserves credit. I was excited last year around this time when we had Clausen, Kumara, Ragone and a few others, but not as excited as I am this year...for next year.

Corwin Brown's ability to lure the top defensive talent from across the country by selling something yet to be seen is pretty much unheard of...and I love it. Our defense is going to be flat out sick in a couple of years. Back to the days of old when we set the tone on defense and out hit our opponent on nearly every play.
