I don't think I'd trade Floyd for any other receiver. He is big, strong, fast, smart, and has great hands. There may be other WR's with more potential, but Floyd could easily come in and start from game one.

I know everybody loves putting Freshman in starting roles, but I truly believe Floyd will start from day one (alongside Kamara). Grimes, Parris, Tate, Hord/Jackson, Goodman/Walker will have to battle it out for the other spots.

Also, are we going to be able to keep Rudolph off the field? I think he is going to be a special teams animal (at a minimum).

I agree with most of what you said Tate. The battle for the 3 and 4 WR spots should be interesting.

I don't think you can keep Rudolph off the field. Dude is a beast!

My son attended a speed camp at UCLA this past weekend. In attendance was the other starting receiver for Cretin-Derham (Yes, he flew out from Minnesota because he's interested in attending UCLA for track). His father said Floyd's best attribute is his hands and maneuverability to postion himself to catch the ball. Floyd is not fast per se.

Should be interesting to see if Weis and his staff can do a better job in the off-season and summer pre-season. Most of these studly recruits will come in August. Weis better have a plan. It would be a shame if we see a repeat of last year. For example, look no further than Golden Tate. He comes out smoking and then fades into obscurity. Weis' inability to develop and use Golden Tate better not repeat itself with Floyd, Rudolph, Ragone, Goodman, etc...

Floyd may not run a blazing 40 time, but he sure doesn't look slow to me. Football speed is all that matters.

I totally agree with your second paragraph Andy. Weis better have a darn good plan to utilize all this talent. It starts with spring practice and then fall camp.

It's all about Physicality! I hope Weis beats the living hell out of them.
