Jimmy Clausen is a great person and Notre Dame is very fortunate to have him join their family. Whether he lives up to the enormous amount of hype or not, he will always be a good person off the field, which is exactly why he's a perfect fit for Notre Dame. More...

Clausen may not face the stiffest competition week in and week out, but his 39-0 record as a starter at Oaks Christian is still very impressive. He's a great kid and should fit it nicely at Notre Dame. I just hope people give him a chance to be great and don't get down on him when he throws an interception or losses a game.
