Thx goirish!

14 of our 19 recruits are in the top 250!! Golic, Newman, Hafis (which could end up here soon), Poz, McCarthy aren't.

Clelland: I hear his footwork is phenomenal and bulking up and learning from Duncan, Young, and Romine for two years will be tremendous for his development
Slaughter: He keeps moving up and reminds me of a combo S/CB (Michael Huff from Texas type player)
Blanton: Surprised to see him drop so far, he's had a phenomenal year.

-Fauria, huge jump. Well deserved. No McCarthy??? Cave in, well deserved!!!

Looks good to me.

SB22, Clelland was in the top 100 last time, so this is actually a drop for him. But no doubt he's a huge talent. I agree that McCarthy not being in there seems like a glaring omission.

If our staff offers a player, he's the real deal. As much as we'd like to get these kids in the Top whatever list, at the end of the day it really doesn't matter that much. Just remember, Kerry Neal wasn't in the Top 250 last year and didn't receive a 4th star until the very end of the recruiting process. Same with Brian Smith.

I agree with nd4life. I am sure there are many examples of 4 and 5 star players who never play to their rating in college football. And I am sure there are 2 and 3 stars who come out of nowhere. The key to our recruiting should be to get quality teachable players... then teach them. The fact that other schools field winning teams without getting top-10 recruiting clases evidences this.

Dropping Blanton outside the top 250 and making him a 3 star is pathetic.
